MSF resumes humanitarian operations in Maban

Maban, October 5, 2018 (SSNA) — Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) also known as Doctors Without Borders has resumed medical operations in Maban after the group suspended its medical staff after armed gunmen attacked compound, the agency has announced.

“After monitoring the situation closely over the past two months, we have gradually scaled up the presence of our team in the Maban area, and we have now returned to our full operational capacity”, MSF head in South Sudan Samuel Theodore said.

MSF has been working in Maban since 2011, providing healthcare citizens of Maban and the surrounding communities, according to a statement on its website.
